signs you've been reading too much popslash
1) you start to google nysnc, not just in the 'matching names to faces' way you did when you first started reading, but in the 'trying to find interviews so you can get a sense of the group dynamic' way.
2) you begin trying to aquire mp3s of nsync songs AND mp3s of jc and justin's solo stuff
3) you seriously consider trying to track down lance's movie
4) you start hunting for videos to download of interviews with the guys so you can get a sense of their speaking voices
5) you feel a pang of sadness when it's mentioned that JC went to a VMA afterparty alone because you don't want any of them to end up alone -- you immediately start looking for jc fic. because even if he's dateless in rl there are fictional bandmates to love him.
6) you find the band on wikipedia and then you read up on all the guys individually...and you read up on all their signficant others past and present
7) you spend a half an hour trying to find pictures that document whether the 'jc gets hard while performing' thing is canon or fanon -- you are pretty disappointed when your google-fu fails and you think about emailing story authors to ask them (and ask if they have photographic evidence to back it up).
8) you curse yourself for being late to the party because it's much harder to find the gossip sources when it all happened in 2001
9) you have a dream where you are at a party with nsync and also the folks from atlantis and john and rodney are begging you not to hang out with the nsyncers so much
10) you print out your favorite story and read it three times on a cross country plane flight.
11) you find yourself randomly distracted by thoughts of the boys current projects and whereabouts. for instance, at a play, 'i wonder if chris is still doing the punk band thing? and also, i wonder what his hair is doing these days...'
12) you worry enough about jc being alone that you have to put it on your list twice
yeah. my shame is deep. my obsession is distressing. and besides bye bye bye i can't for the life of me bring any of the tunes of any of their songs to mind.
oh, and i totally wouldn't kick you out of bed if you had some fic recs.
